WANT TO GET INVOLVED?

Social EventsWe host 5:05 Socials once a month at one of our local establishments, typically Friday or Thursday at 5:05pm. Stop out and look for our group. Ask a server to point you in the right direction. Also, watch for annual events such as our North Iowa Brewery Tour and Wine Tasting.

Service Events We host periodic fundraisers such as Trivia Nights and food stands at downtown street events.
We also recruit volunteers on behalf of the Theatre, Rotary Club, Puckerbrush Days and other projects and organizations as they come up.

Learning Events It may be a stretch to label this professional development, but we focus periodic events on learning about our community parks, businesses and partners. We’ve hosted tours of local facilities like Winnebago Industries, Thorpe Park, the Forest City Electric Plant and Boman Fine Arts Center. We also try to incorporate interesting demonstrations or expert speakers to round out the experience.

Event Brainstorming Informal meetings are held every 4 months to plan events and exchange ideas.
