Forest City Chamber of Commerce is Open for Business – Closed to Pedestrian Traffic  

Forest City – Following the direction and guidelines of the CDC and Iowa Department of Public Health and the City of Forest City, the Forest City Chamber of Commerce will not be open to pedestrian traffic until further notice. This decision was made to ensure social distancing measures are taken to protect staff from work-related exposure.  

Work at the Chamber office will continue. The office will continue to be staffed from 9-5 Monday – Thursday and 9-4:30 on Fridays. The Chamber staff will be available to assist membership by telephone (641-585-2092) and email ( Chamber related meetings will continue to be held by using GoToMeeting and our in-house telephone conferene system.  

To our membership- 

Assisting chamber members with this community crisis is our number one priority. If your day-to-day operations are changing (i.e. you are closing; doing deliveries only; etc.) and you would like us to help you get the word out to the community and people on our email list, let us know and we’ll put together a mass email and Facebook posts.  Additionally, if we can connect you or your business to any resources or services, please contact us at the Chamber office.

Other announcements– 

  • The Forest City Annual Membership meeting originally scheduled for March 18th, at Paddler’s Tap has been postponed. Membership will be notified when a new date is selected. 
  • The Chamber Board of Directors will be meeting Wednesday, March 18th at 4pm via GoToMeeting.
