On December 13, 2025 the community came out and enjoyed several events at Christmas on Clark presented by Next Era Energy Resources. The day started off with a free movie showing at Forest Theatre. The move that was shown was “Elf” and kids got the opportunity to take pictures with Buddy the Elf before hand!
At 1:00 PM several events kicked off. The Daily Grind & Hy-vee hosted cookie decorating at The Daily Grinds location. Over 170 cookies were brought and all were used!
The Mansion Museum kicked off their educational program about the history of St Nicholas along with letters to Santa.
The Vendor Village began. Several vendors were available to buy from. Whether it was bread, macaroons, or a sweatshirt there was something for everyone!
At 2:00PM more events began, Johnson Brothers Art & Music Center hosted Santa & Mrs. Claus along with free ornament crafting sponsored by NSB Bank.
The Boy Scouts hosted turkey bowling outside on Clark St. Although the temperatures were dropping the fun was not. Each bowler got to pick a prize after their turn. Diamond Spray Foam & Coatings sponsored this years turkey bowling.
3:30PM Buddy the Elf stopped by Hero’s Lounge and ran Bingo! Several rounds were ran and all that participated had fun.
Once 5:00PM rolled around it was time for the tree lighting sponsored by Pritchards. At the tree lighting the house decorating & window decorating winners were announced.
