On behalf of the Forest City Chamber of Commerce and Visitor center we would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Chamber Member, Friends of Winnebago County Conservation Foundation!

The brand new Hanson Nature Center is managed by Director, Chris Barber Nature and the main goal of this center is to get people outdoors and promote an increased quality of life. The Hanson Nature Center offers environmental programming for school and civic groups, as well as the general public. It is also a tourist destination that helps visitors learn about the valuable natural resources of the area, in addition to serving as a meeting location for local civic groups and other organizations. Finally, it also houses the offices of the Winnebago County Conservation Board.
