July 4th area activities

7/3 – Buffalo Center Street Dance @ Buffalo Center Volunteer Fire Department, 7pm – 12am. *POSTPONED to August 1*


7/3 – Mason City/Clear Lake Fireworks @ North Iowa Events Center, 10pm (rain date 7/4)
Limited parking will be available, and vehicles must be spaced apart to allow for lawn chairs. There is no grandstand seating. The gates will open at 7pm, and the show will also be visible from the surrounding area.  


7/3 – Rockwell Fireworks will be launching near Chamber Acres beginning at dusk (typically just after 9pm)  
The show is expected to be visible throughout town.

7/4 – Buffalo Center Fireworks will be launching in the NW corner of town at dusk

7/4 – Wesley Fireworks @ Wesley, IA, Events starting at 1pm
There will be sand volleyball, a Kid’s Tractor Pull, Kid’s Punt, Kick & Pass, bingo, soft serve ice cream, and Wesley’s famous BBQ chicken!! Serving 600, all to-go style, from the shelter house. Fireworks will be at dusk.


7/4 – Northwood Fireworks @ the airport, 10pm


7/4 – Charles City Fireworks over the city’s southeast side, 10pm
The fireworks are expected to be visible from most areas of town. Residents are invited to watch the show from their yards, or those with obstructed views can move to any open parking lot.
